Event Overview:

This event will feature insightful presentations and roundtable discussions facilitated by distinguished experts from the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the waste-to-energy sector. The focus will be on key thematic areas such as Bioenergy, Biochar, Policy and Regulation, System-Level Approach, Recycling and Upcycling of Waste, Wastewater Treatment, Municipal Solid Waste Conversion and Gasification, Food Waste to Energy Solutions, Plastic Recycling, Sewage Sludge, and emerging trends in the sector, among others.

This gathering holds significant importance as it is a key element of the UK-KSA Waste2Energy project, supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office under the Gulf Strategy Fund (GSF) program.

The event is designed to facilitate the establishment of professional development paths, encourage transnational educational collaborations, attract investments, and serve as a launching platform for UK companies in the Saudi waste-to-energy sector.
